The Four Rules

These are the Four Rules of Firearms Ownership that EVERYONE needs to know, preach, memorize...etc. Read them, Own them, Know them.

1) ALWAYS keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction.

2) ALWAYS keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot.

3) ALWAYS keep the firearm unloaded until ready to use.

4) ALWAYS treat any firearm as if it is loaded.

The fourth rule may not be part an parcil to the NRA doctrine, but its good to keep in your head that if you pick up a firearm that you follow thew first three rules, whether you know the firearm is unloaded or not..

Thats why I include it as a basic rule.
